’s wholly owned subsidiary, Kerjaya Prospek (M) Sdn Bhd has secured a contract worth RM125mil from Sunrise Alliance Sdn Bhd (SASB), a subsidiary company of UEM Sunrise Bhd.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Kerjaya said the award is for the design and build contract works for a proposed phase 2 development project in Taman Equine, Bandar Putra Permai, Selangor.
The project entails the design and build of two blocks of apartment, which comprise 26 storeys and 25 storeys respectively, a 3-storey commercial unit and a podium, which consists of a 6-storey carpark and common area.
The contract shall commence on Sept 27 and to be completed within 29 months from the commencement date.
Chief executive officer and executive director Tee Eng Tiong said the contract from SASB represented the group’s sixth contract secured this year.
“Along with the recent RM24.7mil contract from Eastern & Oriental Express Sdn Bhd, our year-to-date contract wins stand at RM1.1bil or 91.6% of our targeted wins this year.
“Our outstanding order book has been bolstered to RM4.4bil with the contract from SASB, which will enhance our financial visibility for the upcoming three years,” he said in a statement.
